Games Without Borders Brings Children and Community Together in Vareš

Children, families and volunteers came together in Vareš for Games Without Borders 2026, a day of sport and friendship organised by NK Vareš with the support of DPM Metals.
Held on 5 June, the event gave children the opportunity to take part in games and sporting challenges promoting teamwork, fair play and healthy lifestyles. The welcoming programme placed participation, encouragement and shared enjoyment ahead of the final result.
NK Vareš delivered the event with coaches, volunteers, parents and community partners. The Centre for Culture and Education provided technical support, while representatives of the Municipality and Municipal Council attended in support of activities for children and young people.
DPM Metals was pleased to support an initiative that brought the community together and created a positive experience for its youngest members. Sport helps children build confidence, form friendships and learn the value of cooperation and respect.
The day's energy demonstrated the strength of local partnerships and the value of accessible community events. We thank NK Vareš and everyone who contributed their time and support to make Games Without Borders 2026 memorable for children and families.
