We measure our success not only by what we produce, but also by the relationships we build, the trust we earn and the long-term value we help create in the communities where we live and work – for today and for well beyond the life of mine.

Our Approach

Wherever we operate, we engage openly and respectfully with community stakeholders and work to build relationships based on trust, transparency and mutual respect. In practice, that means:

Proactive, transparent and inclusive engagement with local communities, civil society, institutions and authorities at municipal, cantonal, entity and state levels.

A Public Liaison Committee provides community representatives with a regular forum for dialogue with the company.

Accessible channels through which community members can ask questions, submit suggestions or raise concerns, with enquiries recorded and directed to the responsible teams

A strong focus on local employment, skills development and procurement opportunities, helping more of the value generated by our operations remain within Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Community Investment

Our community investment supports initiatives that respond to identified local needs and contribute to long-term development, including education, healthcare, infrastructure, environmental protection, sport, culture, social inclusion and support for children and young people.

The Foundation

The DPM Foundation channels social investment in an effective and responsible way. It is governed by a Board of Trustees composed of independent representatives, and partners with other donors and foundations to co-fund programs.
